This week Will Ferrell highlights the Oscars, Kim Kardashian fights for her sex tape, Antonella Barba sets off an American Idol scandal and much, much more…

Another scandal fueled week online thanks to some sexy videos and photos. First, socialite Kim Kardashian (daughter of the late OJ Simpson lawyer Robert Kardashian and friend of Paris Hilton) continued to try and prevent the release of the long discussed sex tape featuring her and hip hopper Ray J. Unfortunately for Kim, the tape was released and the success was fueled by trailers and clips circulating all over the web.

In further scandal news, Antonella Barba, a twenty year old contestant on the reality show American Idol set the message boards blazing with the alleged photographs of Antonella topless and in a variety of sexy modeling poses. Things got worse for the young singer when new photos surfaced of the young girl performing a sexual act on an ex-boyfriend, although those photos validity was harder to prove. Still, it didn’t stop a slew of video compilations of the photos popping up on various video web sites. It also didn’t stop Antonella from her Idol performance either, as she was voted through to the next round this week and the producers have let her continue on the show (perhaps knowing full well the extra publicity she has provided).

Earlier in the week, much of the internet focus was on the Academy Awards which were held last Sunday. While the show did not provide too many buzz worthy moments, one singing performance was a breakout hit on the web. Will Ferrell stole the show with the help of buddies Jack Black and John C. Reilly, as they performed a hilarious original musical number about what it is like to be a comedian at the Oscars. Unfortunately for the nearly four hour telecast, not much else seemed to resonate with the internet audience.

Other videos creating some buzz this week included the new Apple commercial for its iPhone which first aired during the Oscar broadcast, Tyra Banks grabbing ex-American Idol contestant Katherine McPhee’s breast on her talk show (seemingly to prove they were real, although with Tyra who knows), a UNC students break up with his girlfriends in front of about 300 onlookers (later admitted to be a set up), a skinny white boy named Von Lee Smith singing “And I am Telling You” from Dreamgirls and out-belting Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson, and of course, Anna Nicole Smith judge Larry Seidlin shedding tears on the bench in his Florida courtroom.
